Dear readers,
I hope this Thanksgiving weekend finds you well, on good terms with friends and family, and unblemished by a Black Friday black eye delivered while shopping at WalMart.
Recently, an editor at an online site to which I regularly contribute put me in touch with a television host interested in interviewing me about a piece I’d written. I wrote to the television station, and when I didn’t hear back after three or four days, asked the editor whether I should shoot out a second inquiry. The editor replied immediately, telling me that I should again make contact with the station. Later that day, as a follow-up, the editor sent me this email: “Promote yourself. It’s the American way.”
Well, far be it from me to appear unpatriotic. Hence, this solicitation.

In the last six years, I have self-published four books. I have two more books in the chutes, but am not sure what to do with them. So let’s stick to the four that have seen print on a page.
Here they are, in order of publication:
Amanda Bell, a novel.
Learning As I Go, a collection essays.
Dust On Their Wings, a novel.
Movies Make The Man, a guide to using movies to mentor young men.
If you go to Amazon and Google “Jeff Minick,” you can find all these books along with descriptions and customer ratings. Please consider purchasing these as gifts for your holiday shopping. If you’d prefer a more personal approach, you may order these same books here on this website. (I’ve only had one person order here, so I can’t promise there won’t be glitches.) I’ll send the chosen books out with an inscription if you so choose.
I could use the money, of course, but even more than money, I am looking for readers.
Thank you very much.
As always, my best to you all,
Jeff
