Inauguration Day: Some Thoughts

This inauguration surely has to be one of the saddest in our nation's history. The lockdown of our nation's capitol, the ridiculous military and police presence, and the fact that in effect no public inauguration will actually take place are abominable. Apparently, however, this is where we are now in the land of the free.
