Yesterday was "Presidents' Day," a holiday once celebrated on George Washington's birthday, February 22. I oppose "Presidents' Day," because there are several presidents whom I regard as unworthy of celebration. Whatever your historical knowledge, your political persuasions, or your opinions on presidents long dead, I feel reasonably certain we would agree that not all past presidents deserve a lighted cake and a tip of the hat.
Below is my tribute not only to Washington, but to all those who founded this country.
